Idaho Foreclosure Listings

There is more to the state of Idaho than meets the eyes. Generally when people think of this state the thought of millions of acres of potatoes is what usually comes to mind. Oddly enough the state, while famous for those Idaho potatoes has some fairly large cities there as well. You will find that currently the largest cities in the state of Idaho are Boise, Nampa and Idaho Falls in order from largest to smallest.

Idaho Foreclosure Listings Idaho is an out door person’s paradise. There are lots of open areas that are conducive to camping, hiking, fishing and hunting and those wide open spaces are actually great paces to just relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of the every day life that we sometimes get caught up in.

The state has a lot of available area and you can often go for many miles between towns and in the rural areas even longer between houses. This makes one of the great pluses of the state and a great advantage for many to be solitude.

The cost of living here is low but there is also very little in the way of industry to help generate income. Most of the people that live here are self-supporting ranchers who raise livestock for a living. In addition the tourist trade provide much economic growth.

It takes 150 days at least for a foreclosure to happen in the state of Idaho. The main reason for this is that after the Idaho foreclosure listing is ordered, a notice of intent needs to be given to the people that own or reside at the property of at least 120 days prior to the sale.

There is a right of redemption here that is geared towards allowing the owner to maintain and redeem the property. If the area of land is over 20 acres, the owner has one year to redeem the property, if it is under that amount them they have six months to do so.

This is unique in the foreclosure arena where the size of the property is not generally taken into consideration when making a foreclosure and setting a date for redemption.
